Wright L. Cooper, a freelance writer and novelist, was born and raised in Brooklyn’s culturally diverse Crown Heights section and has called Charlotte, N.C. home for the last 23 years. Always possessed of a very active imagination and the ability to spin a yarn, Cooper, a child of the "crazy eighties”, was often labeled a “day-dreamer”, but enjoyed success and accolade in any and all writing forums as a student in Brooklyn’s public school system.
